West Chester Men’s Softball League – Free Agent Registration
Want to play in the West Chester Men’s Softball League but don’t have a full team? Register as a free agent and we’ll place you on a team of free agents!
This league is for adult men’s slow pitch softball players looking for an organized Friday night league with weekly doubleheaders, playoffs, and a best-of-3 championship series.
League Details
Location: WCASA Kelly Field - 601 Westtown Rd, West Chester, PA 19382
Day: Friday nights
Game Times: Games will be scheduled between 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (starting as early as 6 with end times as late as 10pm)
Format: Men’s slow pitch softball
Planned Start Date: Friday, August 14
Schedule: Weekly doubleheaders; teams will play 2 games per night, back-to-back
Regular Season: 12 regular season games
Playoffs: All teams make playoffs
Championship: Best-of-3 championship series
Awards: Championship rings for the winning team
Free Agent Registration
Price: $75 per player
Includes: League registration and team jersey
Free agent players may be placed on an existing team or added to a Sixten Sports free agent team if enough players register.
Important Free Agent Note
Free agent placement is not guaranteed unless enough players register or an existing team needs additional players. If we are unable to place you on a team, you will receive a refund.
Gameplay Rules
League gameplay will follow USA Softball slow pitch rules, with Sixten Sports league-specific modifications as needed for scheduling, game timing, playoffs, and field rules.
Additional league rules, roster guidelines, playoff format, and conduct expectations will be sent before the season begins.
Bat Rules
Bats must be USA Softball / ASA approved.
Composite bats are permitted.
The following bats are not permitted:
Senior bats
Shaved or altered bats
Banned bats
Any bat deemed unsafe or illegal by the league
Sixten Sports reserves the right to remove any bat from play at any time for safety or rule compliance.
Refund / Cancellation Policy
If we are unable to place you on a team, you will receive a refund.
Once a player is placed on a team and the season schedule is finalized, registration payments are not guaranteed to be refundable.
Weather-related cancellations may be rescheduled when possible. Makeup dates are not guaranteed and depend on field availability.
